Daniel van Westen has been working as an animation filmmaker and freelance motion designer since 2008. He currently lives and works in Berlin, Germany. His award-winning short films have successfully screened at over 160 film festivals worldwide, and two of them received the rating "highly recommended" from the German Film Review Commission. He graduated from the Kunsthochschule Kassel with distinction in 2017 and has been teaching 3D animation at the Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF since 2020.
